Privacy Policy

My Supplies is an offline-first application. It does not collect, transmit, share or sell any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device and under your control.

No accounts · No cloud · No analytics · No ads

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy describes how the My Supplies iOS app ("the app", "we") handles information. It applies to every person who installs and uses the app.

2. What data we collect

None. We do not collect any personal data. The app has no accounts, no sign-in and no server component. We do not have access to anything you store in the app.

3. Data you create and where it lives

Everything you add — products, expiry dates, pantries, locations, consumption history, recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, store profiles and settings — is stored only locally on your device, in the app's private storage (JSON files in the app's Application Support directory).

This data is never sent to us or to any third party. If you delete the app, this data is removed by iOS along with it.

4. Device permissions

The app may ask for the following permissions. All are optional, and the data they produce is processed on-device only:

Camera — used to scan barcodes, recognise expiry dates and import receipts. Camera frames are processed on your device and are not stored or uploaded.
Notifications — used to show local reminders before products expire. Reminders are scheduled locally; no push server is involved.
Microphone & speech recognition — used only for optional voice input while you dictate an item. It is active only during dictation.

You can grant or revoke any of these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app. The app keeps working without them, with the related features disabled.

5. No network, analytics or advertising

The app contains no HTTP client, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs and no advertising SDKs. It does not track you across apps or websites and does not build any advertising profile.

6. Purchases

My Supplies Pro is an optional one-time purchase; there are no subscriptions. Any payment is handled by Apple through the App Store under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your payment details.

7. Exports, backups and sharing

Any export (for example CSV, PDF or a privacy report) or backup happens only when you explicitly start it. The resulting file is created locally, and where it goes next — the iOS share sheet, Files, or another app you choose — is entirely up to you.

8. Children's privacy

Because the app collects no personal data and has no network features, it poses no data-collection risk to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, regardless of age.

9. Your control over your data

You can view, edit and delete your data at any time inside the app, including selective deletion (products, history, recipes, shopping lists) or deleting all data at once. As the data lives only on your device, you have full control over it.

10. Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects privacy, we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here before or when the corresponding app update is released.
